Average Price Range for Interior Designers. $200 hourly

We work on Billable Hours: Minimum of 20 hours

Includes every bit of time used to conceptualize, procure (buy goods), 3 different presentations per room, emails, phone calls, milage, and install... BUT, in all fairness, it reflects all of the time needed by the designer to complete your project from beginning to end, if a client continues to change their minds as we are procuring the items that contributes to "Billable Time" on every change of the space we have to begin again deducting from your retainer "Billable Time". Having a very clear idea about what you want your space to look like is extremely important to the design process. Billable hours can be consumed quickly, and everyone’s time is very valuable.

How much Time is Utilized to Design: Site Measurements: 1–2 Hours. Space Planning: 2–4 Hours. Conceptual Designs: 8–15 Hours, projects may vairy depending on the scope of work, we spend many hours, day's and months on our client’s projects.



Email is our preferred method of communication. This allows us to reply to you with well thought out responses and refer back to previous conversations.

Text Messaging - We prefer not to answer any design related questions by text message. Photos of products and colors that we receive by text message cannot be accurately evaluated and we would be doing our clients a disservice by approving or rejecting anything in this manner.

Please no text messages evenings after 6 pm, weekends and holidays.

Phone Calls - If possible, it's best to schedule a phone call in advance. Since we're frequently out in the field sourcing or meeting with clients, we aren't always able to take your call.
All voice mail messages are returned in within 24 hours. Weekend messages are returned Monday.


Invoices are sent via email and may be with credit cards, cash or check.

Payments for Services and goods are due within 10 days of receipt of invoice.

Services will cease to continue if invoices are not paid within 21 days.

Invoices for furnishings or custom items must be paid in full before any orders are placed.

Payments to outside trades and service providers will be paid by the client to the service provider.

How long does it take?

Depending on the scope of work, availability of products and how quickly you make decisions, most room transformations take anywhere from 3-6 months. This includes everything from the Design Planning phase all the way through to installation and styling. Some patience is required, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Who buys the furnishings?

Nouveau International is proud of the relationships we've established with skilled service providers and trusted vendors. We communicate all the details of your orders with our favorite resources to ensure the best possible outcome. We also track your orders, troubleshoot when needed, and provide you with email updates to keep you advised of our progress.

Do you mark up products?

We purchase your furnishings with our Design Trade accounts and pass the savings on to you. Like any successful business, we must remain profitable to continue doing our best work. A Procurement fee is applied to your furnishings budget to compensate for the time it takes to order, manage and coordinate/oversee the delivery and installation of your goods.

 Are there any other fees I should know about?

White Glove clients can expect to pay delivery & freight fees, receiving fees and installation/assembly fees. We prefer to have all of your furnishings shipped to our local receiver where they are received, uncrated, inspected for damage, and safely stored until all of the furnishings for your new room have been received.

On installation day, the movers will deliver, assemble, and place your furnishings under my supervision. They will also remove and dispose of all packing materials.

We use professional installers for custom window treatments and large/precise art installations. This ensures everything is square, level, and safely secured to the walls.

Installation, receiving, freight and delivery fees are set by the individual provider, and those fees are paid by the Client with no markup from Nouveau International Design.
